Your Summer in Puglia Just Got More Sublime: Discover Angelo Filomeno’s Exhibitions in Southern Italy

We are thrilled to announce the lat­est achieve­ments of our esteemed Smart­Stamp AIR (artist-in-res­i­dence) artist, Ange­lo Filomeno. His unique artis­tic prac­tice span­ning over two decades has led to the exhi­bi­tion titled “Ange­lo Filomeno. Works. New Mil­len­ni­um.” This exhi­bi­tion serves as a mid-career sur­vey, mak­ing it the first com­pre­hen­sive pre­sen­ta­tion ded­i­cat­ed to Ange­lo. You can catch this extra­or­di­nary show­case at MUST di Lec­ce until Octo­ber 22, 2023. The exhi­bi­tion was con­ceived by MUST’s Direc­tor, archi­tect Clau­dia Bran­ca, and expert­ly curat­ed by Pro­fes­sor Mas­si­mo Guastel­la, who is renowned for his exper­tise in Con­tem­po­rary Art His­to­ry at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Salento.

An exhi­bi­tion of art, archi­tec­ture, and pho­tog­ra­phy, CANTIERE show­cas­es the works of Ange­lo Filomeno, Aldo Flo­re & Rosan­na Venezia, and Giampao­lo Sgu­ra. Open­ing on 5 August, the event takes place in the evoca­tive set­ting of a for­mer 1930s oil mill, nes­tled at the foot of the white city of Puglia, where aban­doned spaces come alive with cre­ative expression.
